This Central Excise duty under Section 3A, is also to be paid like regular Basic Excise Duty (BED) under the Accounting Head "00380003" only. Kind attention to the Chewing tobacco, Jarda and Gutkha Manufacturers: As per the Notification No. 05/2025-Central Excise (N.T.) dated 31.12.2025, every manufacturer of the notified goods shall file a declaration in FORM CE DEC-01 on the portal on or before the 7th day of February, 2026. Declaration Form in CE DEC-01 is available under Taxpayer Dashboard >Menu>Registration>File Declaration Due Date for Payment of HSNS CESS for the month of February 2026 is 7th February 2026 Kind Attention: HSNS CESS Application is functional from 01/02/2026 onwards. Taxpayers covered under HSNS CESS levy may login & register on this portal and can use the Temporary Registration Number so generated to make payment of HSNS CESS thereafter.
